NL Texas Holdem Poker- Who is Phil Ivey?

Phil Ivey has been labeled as the number one poker player on the globe by most of the top-ranked professionals. Phil Ivey was born in Riverside, CA and relocated to Jersey before reaching turning 1. His grandfather taught him one cent-ante Five-Card Stud poker. From that point on, he was addicted to poker and wanted to pickup whatever he could about poker. Phil would tell his grandparents that he wanted to be a professional poker player. Phil didn’t permit the adverse feedback from other people annihilate his ambition of becoming one of the best poker competitors on the planet.
Phil started competing seriously after acquiring a fake ID with the name of Jerome. He practiced his abilities at the poker rooms of Atlantic City. The beginning few years for Phil were a learning experience and coming away with a win was not a regular thing at the time. Phil became known at the 2000 WSOP when he made two final tables and came away with his first World Series of Poker bracelet, in a two dollar, five hundred Pot-Limit Omaha event. At the last table he defeated many of the well known professionals including but not limited to "Amarillo Slim" Preston, David "Devilfish" Ulliot, and Phil Hellmuth, Jr.
Phil decided to take his game to the successive level and headed out west to Vegas. Phil continues to participate in in "The Big Game" at the Bellagio with the best players on the planet. Phil credits his success to discipline and an immeasurable love for poker. He states that he’s picking up skills every single day and is very abashed about his accomplishments. He admits to making errors every single session of poker and always aspires to improve.
Despite the fact that Ivey has come first in some big tournaments, he prefers winning cash games on a normal basis.
